Khamovniki District stands out against other subdivisions of Moscow’s Central Administrative District. Today, one fourth of all new premium projects in the city are being implemented in Khamovniki. Due to its advantageous location, favorable environment and advanced infrastructure, real estate is bought there mostly as dwelling places.
Besides, Khamovniki District is a nice example of how industrial urban areas can be transformed and developed: a number of residential estates were built there at locations where previously plants and factories had been situated. An elite residential area with a two-hectare park, the Knightsbridge Private Park stands on the former place of Bakery plant №6.
