INTERFAX: Elite Flats for Half a Billion Dollars Bought in the Central Administrative Area of Moscow since the Start of the Year

Sales of flats in the elite market of the Central Administrative Area of Moscow during the first 4 months of 2013 have amounted to about half a billion dollars, Contact Real Estate informs. About 150 flats in newly erected houses for the amount of $316,128,705 have been sold for this period. The most expensive flat here was sold for $10 million in the residential complex Knightsbridge Private park. In the secondary market of elite flats in the Central Administrative Area there have been sold about 60 flats for the amount of approximately $173 million during the first 4 months of 2013. The average floor space of a flat sold is 167.9 square metres, the average budget of a flat sold amounts to $2,883,323, the weighted average price of flats sold is $17,177 per a square metre. The most expensive flat was sold in 2nd Frunzenskaya street for $9.5 million. Thus, during the first four months in the entire market of the Central Administrative Area there have been sold flats for the amount of about $490 million. Analysts underline that the amount of flatsin the primary market of the Central Administrative Area far exceeds the demand indicators in the primary market. Buyers prefer newly erected houses at the final stage of construction (fa?ade and engineering works) – 54%.
